Cary Kochman: Defending Against Hostile Takeovers

As an undergraduate at the University of Illinois, Cary Kochman focused his studies on accounting and philosophy. After his 14 years with Credit Suisse, Cary Kochman joined UBS in 2004. Cary A Kochman is a managing director and member of the UBS America Investment Banking Executive Committee and also serves as the co-head of the Investment Banking Department’s Chicago office and Midwest region. Cary Kochman UBS specializes in divestitures, mergers, acquisitions, and corporate takeovers. Cary A Kochman is also considered an expert in cross-border mergers and acquisitions and because of this expertise; Cary Kochman UBS is a highly respected speaker and panelist for global business movements with recent engagements that include speaking at Northwestern University’s Merger Week as well as the International Institute for the Study of Cross-Border Investment and M&A (XBMA). XBMA is a joint venture between the Guanghua School of Management at Peking University, the Stern School of Business at New York University, and Judge Business School at the University of Cambridge.

Not only is Cary Kochman UBS an active member of the global investment community, he is also active in many of Chicago’s leading civic organizations. These include The Executive’s Club of Chicago, The Economic Club of Chicago, The Commercial Club of Chicago and is also an acting Trustee of the Shedd Aquarium. As a member of The Commercial Club, Cary A Kochman is a proponent of Chicago’s economic development.
