One month of radiation to a forged signature

Jeannot Bouchard, representative of a mutual fund dealer and financial planner, who with operations on the South Shore of Montreal, is removed for months because of a forged signature.
Indeed, Jeannot Bouchard was convicted of having forged the signature of a client on the update of an application form for opening an account. The representative has fully cooperated in the investigation and admitted the offense which he is charged.
In its decision, the Discipline Committee of the House Financial Security (FSB) said that the alleged misconduct is not fraudulent intent and was not subject to obtaining a personal benefit other than to avoid approaching the client.
The disciplinary committee said Mr. Bouchard guilty and disbarred for a period of one month in addition to imposing the payment of disbursements.
