Luke Blanchard, Christian Gilles Lamarre and Sinclair were rewarded in the competition “Advisors to honor” at a party held Tuesday night at the St. James Club in Montreal.

Luke Blanchard, wealth management advisor at BMO Nesbitt Burns in Sherbrooke, won the Distinguished Adviser. After spending 18 years to wear the hat of counselor as well as branch manager, Luke Blanchard decided to return to his first love, devoted solely to its customers.

“I know it is not natural, but I pay myself the luxury of being up to my expectations by focusing on my clients,” says Luke Blanchard when asked why he decided to leave out his duties as branch manager of BMO Nesbitt Burns in Sherbrooke.

For their part, Christian Lamarre, advisor and portfolio manager at National Bank Financial, and Gilles Sinclair, Assistant Vice President of Business Development B2B Trust, recipients are tied for the price Advisor most involved in his community .

Known for his commitment to children, Christian Lamarre has been involved with Moisson Montreal food bank. Year after year, it raised nearly $ 200 000 for the body, including through golf tournaments. He also managed to collect nearly $ 100 000 for the Gemini Foundation which helps disadvantaged families through donations of diapers, milk, food and medicine.

Former president of the Quebec Institute of Financial Planning (IQPF), Gilles Sinclair has long been implicated to increase awareness of financial planning. It also supports several charitable causes, including that of God in the street, which helps homeless youth in Montreal. It also often serves Christmas dinner to homeless youth.

“We can not save everyone, but every little bit helps: give a pair of gloves to someone who freezes, it makes a difference,” says Gilles Sinclair.
